I like to think of myself as an avid photographer, but there are times when the creativity wanes and the inspiration dries up. Beauty is abundant in nature and as photographers we want to capture some of that splendor. Nature photography is a rewarding activity and provides a certain level of wonder and excitement. Although as we progress to become better photographers, we sometimes forget the reasons why this hobby or profession became enticing in the first place.
Terminology is key to any form of photography. Know your terms and what you can do with those functions or features and your photographic world opens up to you. Terms are easy to learn. What is a challenge is to make use of what these terms describe.

In photography composition is everything. Where you place the various elements and how they relate to each other creates a ‘wow’ image or relegates your photo to the mediocre.
Digital photography has liberated the world and allowed everyone to enjoy photography and record the Kodak moments for posterity.
